ABOUT OUR PRODUCTS

In these uncertain times we’ve decided to start small –
a small range of small-sized products, hand-made in small batches.

•

Our products are made with natural ingredients all sourced and foraged in Namibia.

As with anything from nature, the products will change over time. Store in cool, dark place to retain nutritive properties. Keep tightly lidded. Natural ingredients may change and settle over time.

Please note the products will vary slightly from batch to batch, due to their hand-made nature as well as natural ingredients.

All our products come in re-usable vessels.

Once you’ve finished a product, we hope that you will re-use the vessel – just wash and soak it in hot soapy water to clean off the oil residue and label.

NO ARTIFICIAL COLOURS

According to scientific research, artificial colouring and dyes present many risks to consumers. Reports note that many commonly used artificial food colours have been found to cause damage to DNA or genotoxicity.

NO SYNTHETIC FRAGRANCES

For people with skin sensitivities and allergies, synthetic perfumes can be a big trigger.

NO EDTA

Tetrasodium EDTA is a penetration enhancer, meaning that it breaks down the skin’s protective barrier.

NO PEG’s

PEGs are emulsifiers or thickeners that can reduce the skin’s natural moisture.

NO PETROCHEMICALS

Petrochemicals are chemicals made from crude oil and natural gas. They are not good for you, or the environment!

NO PROPYLENE GLYCOL

Skin irritation can be seen at even very low levels of propylene glycol.
